Peter Scalthorpe talks about the sprawl model of cities, he said that it models of cities isolates people. I think that it is true, because in the sprawl model, people go to live to condominiums in the outskirts of the city. In the case of Santiago, people go to Chicureo, to Buin, to Nos and there they builds closed systems with private squares, private shops, and a select group of people that don’t interact with people from out the condominium. But it doesn’t happen only in the outskirt of the city, it also happens in Ñuñoa, Providencia, San Miguel, etc. Maybe the morphology of condominiums is different, in the outskirts are houses, in the center of city are towers, but at the end is the same.  I think that we have to create a city where everyone take part, either taking care of it or taking decision about the future of it. I started to study architecture after two years in college courses at the Universidad de Chile. There I took a lot of courses and it helped me to decide enter in Architecture. I wanted to study engineering too but after some courses I realized that it doesn’t really like to me. I love math but engineering’s math is so hard haha. When I started architecture's career I wasn’t convinced about it, but now I can say that I don’t regret to enter here. The most attractive of the career was that the architecture is everywhere. Where you live, where you walk, where you take your dog for a walk and here I can help to do it more comfortable to people. Finland is a country in northern of Europe. It is a Nordic country and its capital is Helsinki. Finland is famous because her beautiful forests and her cold weather. The winter is the largest station of the year. I want to go to Finland because I’m really interested in the work of Alvar Aalto, a famous architect from there. He tried to make an architecture typical from Finland that combines the building with the environment where it was constructed. In particular, I want to know the Muratsalo Experimental House, where he tested with different materials, textures and feelings that he expressed in their future works. The main language there is the Finnish and I don’t know anything about it, but I hope that my English works there because I’m not planning learnt it haha.
